How to Refurbish the REB1200

Do the following:

• Power off the device by hitting Menu button and then "Sleep" menu item
• Hold down the previous page bar (the INSIDE of the page turning switch/bar)
• Power on the device: hit the Menu button (keep holding down the Previous page bar until the device shows the eBookshelf)
• Hit the Menu button
• Tap the Info menu item
• Tap More
• Tap More
• Tap Refurbish
• Tap Yes

When you device restarts it would like to contact the server and register anew (a good thing).

Now attach the unit to either a phone line or Ethernet then hit the Menu button and select the Bookstore menu item.

If your connection is good, you be taken to a registration page -- you want to complete the process starting with "Create new Bookshelf"."
